This website is a service provided by The Legal Alliance (NLA). It is owned and operated by Legal League Ltd.

The Legal Alliance is a trading style of Legal League Ltd.

NLA is a business development & networking entity that works within the legal sector. NLA provides various services as a platform through this site.

Services are provided to both Partners of the The Legal Alliance and solicitor firms who are solicitor Law Firm Members.

Services are also provided to the larger legal sector in terms of solicitors’ businesses.

By using this website, you agree to accept these terms and conditions. If you do not accept any of the terms and conditions, you should not use the website and are not entitled to use it. By using the website, you confirm that you are aged 18 years or older. If you are younger than 18 years of age you are not entitled to use our website.

Our website is operated as a business development & networking portal offering services to the legal sector and legal sector service providers. There will be promotion of various services from time to time.

Any fees associated with Legal League Ltd, and its services are not advertised on this website.

LL accepts no liability whatsoever for any advice given by any entities that may be promoted through this website.

All copyright and intellectual property rights on this website belong to LL.

The use of this website provision and service is at your own risk but nothing within these terms and conditions attempts to exclude any of your legal rights.

Solicitors Firms joining NLA as a Law Firm Member

  1. You must be a regulated SRA law firm or regulated by a similar recognised entity.
  2. Your main legal business must be in the United Kingdom.
  3. Membership fees are tiered at £100 plus vat per month for sole practitioners; £150 plus vat for small law firms with total staff between 2-50 and £200 plus vat per month for larger firms with staff from 51 up to 300.
  4. Membership fees are paid monthly in advance of any particular month.
  5. You will be given a month’s notice if membership fees are increased by us.
  6. You must sign up a direct debit with us via GoCardless- we provide you with a simple link.
  7. You only formally join once you complete the direct debit form, and we are notified by GoCardless, but you are still liable for monthly fees of a minimum of 3 months.
  8. There is 3 months’ notice to leave The Legal Alliance.
  9. If you cancel your direct debit you would still be liable for 3 months fees in whatever tier of membership you law firm falls into.
  10. There is an opportunity to pay annually, and fees will be discounted by 10% in this instance.
  11. Nearly all NLA events are at no cost to NLA Law Firms.
  12. If there is a particular specialist event such as a golf day or a day at the races you would be informed of the cost, and it would be optional if you did not want to attend said event but if you then attended such an event you would have to pay in advance of said event.
  13. Unless you notify us when you join you will be promoted on social media.
  14. Unless you notify us in advance we will potentially us photographs of law firm guests in promotional material.

 Individual Solicitors joining NLA as an Individual Member

  1. You must be a regulated SRA solicitor/ trainee solicitor or regulated by a similar recognised entity such as CILEX.
  2. Your main legal business must be in the United Kingdom.
  3. Membership fees are £100 plus vat per month.
  4. Membership fees are paid monthly in advance of any particular month.
  5. You will be given a month’s notice if membership fees are increased by us.
  6. You must sign up a direct debit with us via GoCardless- we provide you with a simple link.
  7. You only formally join once you complete the direct debit form, and we are notified by GoCardless, but you are still liable for monthly fees of a minimum of 3 months.
  8. There is 3 months’ notice to leave The Legal Alliance.
  9. If you cancel your direct debit you would still be liable for 3 months fees in whatever tier of membership you law firm falls into.
  10. There is an opportunity to pay annually, and fees will be discounted by 10% in this instance.
  11. Nearly all NLA events are at no cost to NLA Law Individuals but you cannot bring a guest and cannot be substituted with another replacement from your firm unless with prior consent.
  12. If there is a particular specialist event such as a golf day or a day at the races you would be informed of the cost, and it would be optional if you did not want to attend said event but if you then attended such an event you would have to pay in advance of said event.
  13. Unless you notify us when you join you will be promoted on social media.
  14. Unless you notify us in advance we will potentially us photographs of law firm guests in promotional material.
